The Aeroplus-2025 aviation expo, which was held from August 1 to August 3, 2025, at Nehru College of Aeronautics and Applied Sciences in Kuniyamuthur, Coimbatore, aimed to increase aerospace awareness among students and the general public. More than 300 school students from Coimbatore and neighboring districts of Kerala attended the opening day of the three-day event, which offered free public entry.
Highlights and attractions of the expo included live displays of two Cessna airplanes, a Hawker aircraft, and a helicopter. Attendees could also experience drone demonstrations, aviation robotics showcases, and a flight simulator called "Around the World in 80 Minutes." Other features included a female aviation cadet parade, rifle shooting zones, career guidance booths, and the chance to sit in aircraft cockpits.
The event was inaugurated by Rear Admiral V. M. Doss (Retd.) and other notable guests, including senior officials from the NCC and the Coimbatore City Police.
